A depreciation report is a comprehensive study of a strata's common property, required under the BC Strata Property Act. It evaluates the condition of building components and projects future repair and replacement needs.

Effective July 1, 2024, BC strata corporations must obtain depreciation reports on a mandatory 5-year cycle.
